Veins are the vessels that carry impure blood to the heart from all parts of the body. Valves act as motor which helps to push the blood towards the heart and when the person stands for long time or sits for long time, these valves become weak and non-functional due to which the blood circulation will not occur properly in the legs. The doctor will scan your veins with Doppler and then he will cannulate the varicose veins with the help of puncture needle and through the puncture needle, he will pass the guided wire into the needle and take it out. Then he will give the local anaesthesia and insert 5F, 6F or 7F sheath. Through this sheath, he will pass the laser fiber (wire) till the SFJ (Sapheno Femoral Junction) and connect the laser fiber to the laser machine, now surrounding the laser fiber the doctor will inject the tumescent with the help of Doppler and start the laser machine. The tip of the laser fiber will generate heat and with the help of the heat, they will close the leaking veins(varicose veins).

Finally the laser is removed and Velfour bandage is applied for a week. Crape bandage or Class II stockings may also be used. Within 30 minutes, the patient can walk and resume his daily routine activities. It is simple and safe which has the fastest recovery treatment.
